America’s Middle Class is Crumbling –

The Middle Class in America is heading toward economic collapse.  The destruction is deliberate, well-orchestrated and long planned by those in current seats of authority who bathe in power and control as an aphrodisiac; and even then they cannot accumulate enough power and control to soothe the raging beast inside of them.  The collapse of America’s middle class is well underway directed by those intending to make two classes exist: The Elite and the servant.  Millions of jobs have disappeared, incomes are decreasing, home ownership has declined the past eight years while individual debt has increased to staggering levels.  Millions no longer can care for themselves without government assistance.  The number of Americans on food stamps has increased 50% since Obama seized the reigns of power; 92-million Americans no longer work, 47.4-million Americans are on food stamps, 20-thousand fewer women are working this economic quarter from that of last quarter.  As politicians in both parties continue the kabuki theater playing in Washington, D.C. some of the largest retailers in America who focused on the middle class are dying.  Sears and J.C. Penny are both on the verge of bankruptcy, and now Radio Shack may close several hundred stores nationwide.  General Electric (GE) is moving its 115-year old X-Ray division from Waukesha, Wisconsin to Beijing, China.  This is the same General Electric that received $5.1-billion in the United States but paid no taxes!  And to add insult to injury, Obama appointed the GE Chairman, Mr. Immelt to head the commission on job creation for America.  Are you beginning to smell the collapse?  Still not sure?

During the past five years of transforming America, Obama and company have led to: the number of working has declined from 60.6 percent to 58.6 percent; 53 percent of Americans now make less than $30,000 yearly; 1 out of 4 part-time workers live below the poverty line; the average credit card debt is $15,279; the average student loan debt is $32,250; in 2008, 53 percent of Americans considered themselves “middle class”.  Today, only 44 percent think so.  Several million people will be forced to reduce their work hours so businesses can avoid Obamacare penalties.  The Congressional Budget Office and the Bureau of Labor Statistics provides all the numbers you need to see what is happening away from the theater playing in Washington and on TV with State-fed propaganda.

God’s Word described clearly the conditions in our present reality.  James, the half brother to our Lord wrote of this in his Epistle James 5:1-6.  James was not indicting those who had wealth.  The Bible is clear that it is not wrong to have wealth (Proverbs 10:22).  James was indicting the wealthy for how they used their wealth, for their self-centered ways.  James was confronting those who were consumed with providing for their own comfort and security even at the expense of withholding proper wages and benefits from the workers.  While God does not condemn those with money, He does speak out against those who “trust in riches.”  “He who trusts in his riches will fall” (Proverbs 11:28).  Jesus Himself said, “How hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the Kingdom of God!” (Mark 10:24).

What truly is playing out before our eyes is the transformation of America by the Godless Elite; a transformation into our becoming  just another country within the global community.  No longer exceptional, no longer unique, no longer well off economically, culturally, materially, agriculturally, no longer a Blessed Nation whose God is the Lord!  In order for the transition into a New International Economic, Religious, Governmental Order Americans must be conditioned to perceive the “new normal” as the only way to survive, and the only way then is to receive the handouts coming from the all powerful, centralized State; no longer from independent, entrepreneurial, hard working, middle class businesses and industry.  The State is supreme!  The Elites comprising the State grants certain freedoms, and it is the State which produces an economy.  Individual rights, inalienable rights, self-expression through work, pride in ownership, achievement and self-worth – all out!  Surviving is decreed by the State and then only after a determination that the person has value to sustain the State.  There is a battle coming, and you had better prepare.

A part of your preparing is to take a sober inventory about how you look at the economy, because how you perceive the economy tells much about your values.  Look also into these areas of your life:  “Do not lay up for yourself treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:19-20); Diversify your blessings “giving a serving to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what evil will be on the earth” (Ecclesiastes 11:2); “Listen to counsel and receive instruction” (Proverbs 19:20); Ask the Lord for an extra measure of discernment “Remove falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches – feed me with the food allotted to me; lest I be full and deny You, and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God” (Proverbs 30:8-9); Seek devotion to the teachings of the Lord as each of the Disciples did during their journey with Christ while He was on earth – so; “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first-fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be full of plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine” (Proverbs 3: 9-10); “Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).  Begin to practice these values now; make your mistakes, but begin again, then again, and still again until all of these values become a part of your character, the inner you.

Financial pressures have one great benefit.  They push us to new levels of faith, forcing us to be utterly dependent on God; not on the State, not on ourselves, but on the God of all creation who knows very well what is truly transforming before our eyes – and it is NOT what He wants, however, it is what He is going to allow for a time.  During the time of coming hardship, the Lord wants His People, who are called by His Name, to know what Jesus taught candidly: for the God who cares for the sparrow will care for us (Matthew 6:25-34).

It amazes me that U.S. companies cannot seem to see that moving over seas is only helping to bring about the collapse of our economy. Then people such as the chairman of GE are put in charge of problems they helped create. Is it possible for this country to slide any further into the realm of stupidity?

None of this comes as any surprise to those who know their Bibles. It does however sadden and disgust us.

Put your trust in God while there is yet time. We have not seen anything yet, this is only the beginning. Trust in your wallet, or trust in Christ…you can’t have it both ways.

Great article with keen insight Lyle.
    God bless

Great article Lyle. By the time people will realize it , it will be too late. The only smart money is to put your trust in the LORD, humble yourself and He will exalt you. We live in a temporary place, just passing through, but it still effects us. But one day the great Shofar will sound and we will all be with Yeshua, and none of this will matter. B’aruch haba b’shem ADONAI or blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.

To’Da Rabbi Eric – We do live in a temporary place, as Believers in Yeshua we are ez’rach (a citizen) not of this world but with the Lord in Sha’ma’yeem (Heaven). We are trespassers in this world. The Church is so asleep it pains me to see how indifferent they are to what is transpiring, and if I thought the Lord would be fine with my decision, I would stop trying to blow the Shofar and go out and play golf! Hashem’s (God’s) grace would allow me, but I think He would also only allow me to Double Bogey every hole on the course! LJR-

Wonderful article, Lyle! The message is loud and clear and you did great job. As the middle class dwindles down it creates a larger class of poor. We have a government who has no concern for the poor except to keep them in bondage. By giving them a few hand-outs, they keep them coming back for more. The government becomes their life-line and the poor show their gratitude by accepting the evil being done as the government gets bigger and people get smaller.

People are selling off the truth and calling it “tolerance”. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Where is that fear, Lyle? The created have forgotten their Creator. They have turned, everyone, to his own way demanding that God adjust to their image instead of us being transformed into His image.

God is shaking up this earth to see who truly belongs to him. Now is the time to turn to Christ while there is still time.
