Pastor Johnathan Gentry has strongly talked about the epidemic within the black community, and it is not just crime that is out-of-control, but the disintegration of the family, the rising abortion rate, the loss of healthy male role models, and the list goes on and on. You can go to Youtube and review several of Pastor Gentry’s presentations, and I encourage you to do so sooner rather than later. Pastor Gentry’s straight-talk and convictions from the pulpit have now caused him to receive death threats. I know someone else who spoke conviction from the pulpit (so-to-speak) 2,000 years ago and who also received death threats, finally leading to His death on a cross.
O’Reilly presented his Talking Points Memo which you can view at the site mentioned below. Strong, candid, and not at all politically correct but accurate…Bill O’Reilly and Pastor Johnathan Gentry have faced the giant of reversed discrimination and looked it straight in the face, and called it out for what it is! Six years of Obama and there is no measurable demonstration of his attempt to bring an end to discrimination or the hatred rampant within the black communities across the country. The First Black President elected in our country’s history has done more to inflame tension and hatred among people than anything connected to bringing the citizens of this country together as a national family; something, by the way, he vociferously spoke about most often as a candidate. If it were not for the many decades of healing already undertaken by so many, the tensions and anger, the doubt and mistrust, the disrespect and criminal actions so evident in Ferguson would be even more heinous across our country. Leadership is action, not position. Leadership is partially defined by what you do, not the title on your business card – even if your business card reads: President of the United States. There is no leadership from the occupant of the White House, and I don’t think there ever was any intention or even interest in an endeavor to unified Americans. To manipulate emotions so they could be used for furtive purposes; to open grievous wounds that were well on their way to being healed from years of correction and having soothing balm placed on them; to tear down and cast doubt and dispersion rather than to build on the groundwork laid by so many over decades of deliberate and dedicated work to bring healing and restoration – all of this, and more, is the work of wounded and spiteful hearts. The political agenda that has emerged is proof of the choice to drive a wedge between groups of people, to create an environment of mistrust and uneasiness easily exploited to manufacture coordinated crisis.
The Bill O’Reilly comments made on his show the other evening are powerful and direct, not nebulous and politically correct as so many in public life tend to utter nowadays. Please watch the video below and ponder the message
