God’s Not Dead!

banner_easter_2013-300x102_1This world is perishing but God still holds your future!

We are living in times of evil.  The hearts of most have grown cold and trouble abounds everywhere.  Marriages are disintegrating before our eyes and homes are broken leaving only pain and confusion in it’s place.  Children are being sold down the river with lies from hell being taught in the very schools we support with our taxes.  There is no creation, everything just evolved from nothing.  Homosexuality has become a choice that you better agree with or face the consequences for your intolerance.  Sometimes that consequence may include imprisonment for your belief that homosexuality is an abomination to God, the Creator of mankind! His design for a man and a woman doesn’t fit in with the will of the people who clamor for their “right” to do as they please even when it includes redefining marriage! God is homophobic it has been said.  Imagine the audacity of the created to shake their fist at the Creator and tell him to get lost!

Abortion is another choice.  It is my body, right?  Well how about the innocent child whose only crime was to be conceived by  selfish, irresponsible people who have deemed that this child does not fit in with their agenda.  The fetus is just a clump of unformed cells, you might say.  The truth is that at the point of impact of the sperm and the egg, all the DNA that the child will ever have is now present! The hair color, the eye color the sex of the child are set at that point.  God told Jeremiah in Chapter 1 that, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”  That wasn’t just a statement for Jeremiah. That is a truth for all those conceived in the womb.  We have decided now that God cannot tell us to keep a child we don’t want.  And as evil as that is, there are children who live through the abortion only to be killed off or left to die!  In  the Old Testament, Gehenna was a valley by Jerusalem, where apostate Israelites and followers of various Baalim and Caananite gods, including Moloch, sacrificed their children by fire.  That evil practice of sacrificing their children to the false god, Moloch is no worse than ripping a child from its mothers womb during an abortion!  That is a fact whether you like it or not.

As nation rises against nation and famines, earthquakes and wars increase, the enemy is spewing hate and lies to make people think that God does not care or else that God is dead!  I assure you by the holy word of God that Christ is alive and making ready his plans to return in judgment and to make all things new.  Whether you bid him to come or not, He is coming back!

No matter what struggle you are facing, remember that if you belong to Christ, it is all working his purpose and his plan for your victory.  It might not seem like it but God has promised to withhold no good from those who love him.  Let your heartache and pain work out that for which God has allowed it in your life.  He is not uncaring in all that you endure.  This world is not heaven.  One day you will see the reason for your struggle.  You will also know that God was with you every step of every day.  His eyes never left you. He grieves with you in your pain but he sees the end result of your suffering.  He knows you intimately.  He will not fail you.  Never surrender up your heritage in the Kingdom of God to a defeated enemy of hell.  Christ put all your enemies beneath his feet. He rendered them powerless to defeat you.  The devil himself knows that.  It is my prayer that you will understand it, too.

Please watch the trailer of the movie God’s Not Dead. It will be coming out this spring and we all need to support such an awesome movie.  Keep the truth in your heart and hold on.  This world is perishing but God still holds your future!

I seek first the kingdom of Christ because everything else in this world is perishing. All that I have is from God who is always faithful. I have worked hard all my life and will continue as long as God lends me breath. The mistakes and bad judgments I made in my life all stemmed from me trying to work things out by myself. I have learned the hard way that the victory over all of my problems and the answers to all of my desires lie solely in my Savior, Jesus Christ. It is now my desire to share the words that God gives me to encourage and give hope to others who need the strength that only faith in Christ can give.

Yes! Jesus embraces all that Love Him, including LGBTs. Accept that……because Jesus accepts them. Only religion separates….Jesus loves all, even prays for those who persecuted Him. you are no better than the LGBTs in Jesus’ eyes. I never came across any message from His lips that condemns LGBTs. so should you too. you are no greater than Jesus…..

Hi Kore, Jesus said that if we love him, we will keep his commandments and obey him. The bible tells us what God wants from us. You can’t love God and then live the way you desire instead of his way. My friend, I know you are angry with me but you need to read your bible again. Read Romans chapter 1 and tell me what it says about the homosexual lifestyle. I am not saying that my sin is any better than yours. In fact, if I continue to live the same lifestyle that I had before I was saved, I will not be in heaven. No one who loves God goes on sinning. You may sin but certainly not like before. When you are saved, God takes your heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh that is willing to obey him. I have not only a new relationship to Christ, I have a new relationship to sin. Sin keeps me from the fullness of my God. I desire not to sin. If I have a problem lying all the time, I can claim Christ all I want but if I continue lying as I did before with no repentance, I will not go to heaven. The bible says that liars will not be in heaven. The difference is that I have the power of Christ living in me. I have been set free from the bondage of sin because the power of Christ in me gives me the strength to do what is right and avoid evil. I

Jesus forgave his persecutors but unless they repented do you think that they did not face the consequence of denying him? Do you think they were in heaven if they stayed the same? God will forgive anyone who repents of their sin. Repenting does not mean saying your are sorry, it means making a 180 degree turn in the other direction and walk away from it.

I certainly cannot compare to Jesus but he lives in my heart and teaches me to follow him. It is in his word that says that those who continue in their sin will not get to heaven. You can choose to believe him or not. I pray you will.

I wanted to know who really wrote Romans chapter 1. I am not mad at you. I am not even gay. But I know a lot of gay people and they were born that way, nice people who do nice things to others. If they were born as they were, that means God created them that way. The bible has many interpretations that I do question a lot in it. Jesus wanted us to love one another. a person with no love in his heart towards God’s creation is the sinner in Jesus’ eyes and also in my eyes.

Hi Kore, The book of Romans in the New Testament was written by the Apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God! All Scripture is God-breathed as written in the bible. God used the hand of man under his inspiration to write every word of the bible. The bible does NOT have many interpretations, my friend. There is only ONE. Someone may take a verse and change it around to fit their need but that isn’t truth. The bible is VERY clear of God’s abomination of homosexuality. The word Homosexuality isn’t used but instead the description of a man laying with a man as with a woman is described as well as a woman with a woman. God does not change. You can bring up rules God gave his chosen people in the Old Testament in order to stay pure because the Savior was to come from them but his commandments do not change. God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament and then now say homosexuality is okay. He was the one who created man to be with a woman.

My friend, I understand what you are saying. We are ALL born sinners. Every one of us. Because of the fall of Adam and Eve, every person born has a sin nature. However, Christ came to this earth to pay the price and free us as slaves to sin. We can now use his power to overcome sin. When you are in Christ, you are a new creation. That is all in the bible. The old ways are gone and the new way now is with you. You desire to please God and do his will by surrendering your will to his! I have to give up my desires that do not line up with his because I want to be with him. That is proof that his Spirit lives in me. Now, if as you say, someone is born gay, with God’s power they can overcome that sin and not act on that desire. Just as I must overcome my sinful desires and do as he commands.

You are absolutely right that we are to love one another! Why do you assume that because I acknowledge the truth of God’s word against homosexuality that I hate homosexuals? I love all people! That is so unfair that people automatically criticize Christians as being hateful toward homosexuals. You can love me but hate my sin if I steal from you. It is love that drives us not hate! You can’t have Christ living in your heart and hate too. What is hateful is how people react to Christians who believe the bible as being God’s word. I want everyone to get to heaven….is that hateful? If you choose to continue in your sin, that is your business and I can’t stop you nor would I try. It is your choice.

I hope you understand the point I am trying to make. The bible is clear. The whole bible was written by God’s inspiration using men to write his word.

Hi Rui, I did see Time Changer and I really liked it. And sadly, most people are dead in their sin. It is for that reason that we pray for the lost who are headed for destruction. Thanks for stopping by, Rui.

marianne, what is my sin that you are talking about? Jesus is my best friend. He heals my body whenever I call His name. I am very close to Jesus. But I love His other brothers and sisters too. Unless Jesus tells me to judge the LGBTs Himself, I will continue to love them unconditionally as He does. You can live with your bible and your judgmental attitudes, I will continue to just follow Jesus. He loves everyone, bar none….even you.

Hi Kore, I am not speaking of your sin personally but rather anyone who continues to live in sin. I love people unconditionally also, Kore. I don’t know why you keep bringing that up. God gave us the commandments. He is the one who said that homosexuality is an abomination to him. He has already judged those who continue in their sin. It is not my command they break but the law of God. Whether you want to believe it or not is your choice. If you think you can love someone while they die in their sin, then that is also your choice. The bible is the word of God. If you don’t want to believe that either, that is your choice. Jesus said there will be many who think their sin is okay. Many will cry out, “Lord, Lord” but Jesus said he will say, “Be gone, I never knew you.” You better read your bible, Kore. Your opinion and mine don’t matter but the word of God will stand forever. You cannot follow Jesus by making up your own rules.
