Democrat Congressional leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is one weird duck.

It’s not just her political beliefs that have led me to say this, though her politics are Far Out, man. Her far-left political beliefs are warped, but in recent months, it’s her behavior and speech that have become super-weird.

On more than a few different occasions Pelosi has said some really strange things, and acted in truly bizarre manners… (see hereherehere, and here for a few examples) but her most recent fit, may be the oddest one yet.

The House Minority leader was speaking during her weekly press conference when her mind seemed to wander away, even as her mouth kept speaking. The American Mirror’s Kyle Olson said Pelosi was heard, “uttering gibberish, bizarrely laughing and staring off mid-sentence before re-engaging the press during the appearance.”

Here’s more from the American Mirror about the bizarre appearance:

Pelosi accused U.S. farmers of “self-inflicted damage,” resulting from proposed tariffs by the Trump administration, before having to fix the statement she read from her notes.

“Farmers are struggling with plummeting prices, great economic uncertainty, and self-inflicted damage of the Trump tariffs. I say self, self— for our country,” she said.

“Republicans wrote a bill that abandons farmers, uh, uh, fam— farming families. It weakens, the farmers’ safety net…” Pelosi accused.

Talk about food stamps, she said, “1.5 million veterans,” stopping and staring amid a brain freeze, before continuing, “are involved in the nutrition program.”

After claiming a Republican priority is “taking the food out of the mouths of babies,” she turned to prescription drugs, saying, “President Trump’s monthl— month, months-delayed speech on prescription drugs…

Yikes. That was hard to watch.

Pelosi is 78-years old and has already served 16 terms in Congress, beginning way back during the Reagan administration in 1987! Some would argue that she’s done enough, but the soon to be octogenarian has filed paperwork indicating another run for office in 2018. While we on the right may disdain her politics, we can’t help but notice that the more involved Pelosi seems to be, the less popular the Democrats get. Over the last decade she’s been an absolute boon to the Republican Party and has delivered more power into the hands of the GOP than at any point since the early 1900s.

So while we won’t be sad to see her go, we’re not exactly complaining about the fact that the lefties in San Francisco keep sending her back to lead their failing party.
