Mentioned is a youtube site that will bring you to a man who has written and recorded quite a salute to those who have proudly, humbly, and with great integrity dressed in the uniform of the U.S. Military Armed Forces. But the same is true for those soldiers who dressed in the uniform of their nation; as in the case of the composer/singer who resides in Canada. You will see Canadian and American soldiers in this film, but we could include any Allis member of the military.
To our soldiers here in America, God Bless You for standing in the gap; for standing post so your fellow Americans can sleep through the night. Mere words, and even songs, cannot convey sufficiently the respect and admiration we have for your service. For our dear warriors who have come home but live to fight another type of war, many times a silent set of battles, don’t hide. Let folks who are looking to help, do just this…HELP! You have helped keep us safe, now let us help you enjoy the fruit of your labor. As you stood in the gap for us, allow us now to stand alongside of you. If you are experiencing PTSD or some form of stress associated with your time standing post on the wall, may you begin to take steps to fully come home, to fully and completely return! May this song be a step for you.
May the Lord bless you, dear soldier, sailor, airman, marine, coast guard man. May He hold you in His arms so you can finally relax and accept the accolade: “Well done faithful warrior, well done!”
