My Comment: Christians have been warning for some time about the warnings in God’s word for going against His people and Land. We all watched as Gaza was stripped of Jewish heritage, and we know what happened. The Rabbis are right. Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. And Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. The Book of Esther does indeed tell of Haman’s evil plot to take over God’s land and His people. It tells of an alliance with King Xerxes and the Jewish people by way of a marriage of Esther to the King. It tells how God allowed this to fulfill His purpose, and how He thwarted efforts of Haman and turned His plan back on Him. This is well known in the Bible. It’s well known for those of us who still have the fear of God. The Rabbis have written a letter to Kerry with these warnings. Below is an excerpt. Pray for Israel. God is still in control, even if it doesn’t seem that way to us. He’s still on the Throne.
“By the power of our Holy Torah, we admonish you to cease immediately all efforts to achieve these disastrous agreements – in order to avoid severe Heavenly punishment for everyone involved,” warned the rabbis.
The letter closed with a reference to the upcoming Jewish holiday of Purim, in which the Book of Esther records Hama’s genocidal plots against the Jewish people were turned against him and he was “hung on the very same gallows he had prepared for Mordechai, the Jew.” Employing the language of scripture, the rabbis warned “conspire a plan and it will be frustrated; talk the talk and it will not be fulfilled, for G-d is with us” (Isaiah 9:5).
