A few months after my brain surgery I heard this song and felt like God was speaking directly to my heart. I needed to know that I could rise up out of the ashes of my broken life. I hope this song ministers to you today and blesses your socks off!
“I will rise out of these ashes, I will rise
From this trouble I have found and this struggle on the ground I will rise.
For He, who is in me is greater than I will ever be and I WILL RISE!”
“To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)
