Michael Brent is a 15 year old who lives in Florida, and who loves the Lord God of Eternity, and His Son Jesus Christ.  Michael Brent is challenged with Autism but has found hope and joy, friendship and ability to persevere through the challenges by his relationship with the Lord.  I do not know Michael Brent; have never even met the young man.  I have, however, met his Grandmother Rhonda Herrington on multiple occasions as we have shared podiums at public presentations.  Rhonda is the person from which the Beach Boys song “Help Me Rhonda” derived, and her story about the making of “Help Me Rhonda” is full of smiles.

Rhonda sent the below YouTube video to me of her grandson, Michael Brent, singing Michael W. Smith’s song “Breathe.”  Rhonda’s words to me are as follows: “This will humble you down to your boots.  Enjoy.  I am so proud that he loves God.  My Poster child for Autism Awareness month, April.  Please send this around so he can get lots of hits on YouTube.”   So how about joining me, and send Michael Brent singing to your distribution list?  Maybe folks will even write a comment for Michael at the YouTube site.  Either way…this young man will benefit and be blessed and affirmed.  I was blessed watching young Mr. Brent sing.  I pray you will be, too!
