(National SentinelDuplicitous: Whenever Democrats are caught in a major scandal, the Left-wing establishment media can always be counted on to provide them with cover.

Enter CNN, otherwise known as “Hack Central,” and the scandal brewing in Broward County, Fla., in the aftermath of last week’s midterm elections.

More than 40 hours after the polls closed Tuesday and the results showed that GOP Senate candidate and Gov. Rick Scott and gubernatorial candidate Rep. Ron DeSantis had both defeated their Democratic challengers, out of the blue an election supervisor in Broward County with a history of vote tampering ‘found’ thousands of ballots that conveniently began chipping away at the Republican victories.

The GOP was ready for this, however, because they are very familiar with the Broward election official in question, Brenda Snipes — who was in legal hot water in recent years for destroying ballots.

Now it appears that she and others in Broward, along with neighboring Palm Beach County — both Democratic strongholds — are attempting to steal the election for incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson and gubernatorial candidate and Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.

Friday evening, Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, went down to Broward and actually videoed officials removing boxes full of ballots and loading them into trucks — in violation of the state constitution and a judge’s court order to produce all ballots by 7 p.m. Friday night.

Gaetz was forcibly removed from the area by Broward County police.

He later appeared on CNN (for some reason) with well-known liberal apologist and Democratic hack Chris Cuomo, and fireworks ensued, as documented by Mediaite.

After claiming that Gaetz — along with Scott and POTUS Donald Trump — falsely accused Broward election officials of fraud (“You don’t know that!”), Gaetz tried to explain that the two counties in question have a history of election and balloting chicanery.

Cuomo then blamed that on Gaetz too, claiming he’s done nothing to fix it. Never mind that Gaetz is a U.S. representative, not a state representative.

In any event, from there Cuomo mentioned that Nelson was filing suit and Gaetz said that was because he wants a hand recount — though ballots “found” after the 40-hour poll-closing cut-off are not supposed to be valid and therefore cannot be counted legally — under state law.

That irked Cuomo.

“Oh, so [Nelson] has the ulterior motive? Your guys are pleading fraud when they have no proof of it. But that’s okay,” Cuomo pushed.

They’re hiding the proof. They’re playing hide the ball with the freaking ballots!” Gaetz shot back. “So how are we supposed to prove the fraud when they’re not allowing us to go behind and have access?”

Exactly. And why isn’t Cuomo at all interested in finding out why these ballots are showing up well after the turn-in deadline? Why isn’t he curious to know where they came from and why Broward officials are behaving in a shady manner?

Because he isn’t really a journalist. He’s a paid Democratic hack pretending to work as a journalist.

And by the way, so much for Russia tampering with our democracy.

This only gets worse from here. Democrats are attempting to destroy Americans’ faith in their electoral system. Why? So they can convince most of us to do away with it and install a system that gives them the majority.
